 A story of self sabotage and why it is time to move yourself and the world forward When I just started to take action on divinely guided visions, I was fearful. I was stopping myself from being fully seen, because I carried a load of guilt and shame on my shoulders. The shame of the abuse I experienced as a child, the guilt over my divorce, fears of what others may think if they see me using tarot and oracle cards for guidance or hear me talk about my angels or talking to spirits of the deceased. “But Sabrina, where is god in all of this?” My best friend asked me. “Where is god not?” I asked him back. I always felt that as long as we are listening to god's higher voice for guidance and want to genuinely make a difference for others, then god is in our work as it is divinely guided. How we create miracles for others is not so important as the fact that we are doing it effectively. Many of our fears stem from old, outdated programs rooting in religion and societal norms. Nobody teaches us how to create our own businesses, everyone tells us to just get a job and have a steady regular income, it is safer, they say. The truth is that we are still living in survival mode, my dears. So where is God in that? I remember an instance as a teen when I was visiting a new friend’s home, we sat on her bed and talked about the universe when suddenly, the door opened, her mother, who had been sitting outside the door, listening to us the whole time, fell into the room as she lost her balance leaning against the door frame. She got up and demanded I needed to leave, calling me a witch in her frenzy as she chased me out of her home. I was shaking and went to my friend to tell him about it, he just laughed and said that people don't know what I am talking about. I learned that day the damage of religious and societal programming. I became afraid of being myself. My father took me to psychics when I was a young child, after I spoke about angels talking to me. The psychics told us that I carried a seed, a gift of great power. That one day it will be revealed, and it was much more then just reading cards or predicting anything. They told me that I will help many people. I am still on my journey trying to figure out what it is, that I can help the world with. My time is limited on this planet and I feel a push to move forward. To get to the point, to expose my seed more and to really make it happen, whatever that is. This is why I said yes to writing in the Book “I know why, Moving the world” by Gerry Visca, the last book in the “I know Why” series. An inspirational novel about taking inspired actions. Our fears sabotage our ability to move forward in life. We are afraid to take action on our inspirations because of our fears of what others may think of us. We cannot follow god’s guidance when we are afraid of taking inspired actions and our gifts to the world stay unshared. I hit another roadblock recently, the belief that I can’t say what I want because someone might shut me down because I am not a licensed psychologist and shouldn’t speak about my own understanding of things. I was looking into becoming a psychologist but the years of study and costs involved deterred me. This belief stems from my family programming, their beliefs that in order to help others I needed a license. It was their way to stop me from understanding or speaking about my own traumas. There has got to be a better way. When we ask for the way, the way appears and sure enough a much more affordable option came up that may just be the thing I was looking for. I sabotaged myself so many times because of my fears of being shut down, cancelled or de-platformed if I spoke my truth. And I know many of you reading this are struggling with the same. I like to look at the core issues of problems because I know that skimming the surface and trying to control the issues it causes, takes a lot of time and effort. Exposing the core problem has the potential to disarm all the surface problems and saves us a lot of time and energy in the long run. It took me forty years to get to the understandings I have today and I feel a part of my gift to others is to help them move forward in life faster, through giving the gift of deeper understanding of the self. Why you are the way you are and what it would take to release your programming and beliefs that have become a disservice that is leaving you in the dark or keeping you from taking inspired action to create your life and business. God lives within our hearts, and if we listen to our own soul for guidance, we can only do god’s work, it is only when we stop listening to our heart and soul, that we disconnect from source, the universe or god, when we follow rules, programs and beliefs, the games of the mind, we cannot see our own inner guidance anymore, and that is when we stop being aligned with purpose and divine will. When we follow programs and rules, we hurt others, because we lack compassion and we miss inspired opportunities. Before we make decisions or say something out of judgment, we need to reconnect with ourselves and ask our soul the question: What is the right action, what is the inspired action; inspired; inspiration; in spirit = god.
