Affirmations

Have you ever created your own affirmations? Do you know what affirmations are? Affirmations are statements of empowerment, we create them and repeat them to ourselves to reprogram our mind, lift our vibes and come home to ourselves. It encourages self sovereignty and a deep understanding of who you are in this vast universe. I began using them during a difficult time when I felt myself slipping away and loosing hope, I realized my thoughts were reinforcing my experiences in life and that I could change that for myself, I was inspired by Sarah Prout who created the manifesting academy and wrote a book about affirmations. I created my own and wrote them on sticky notes, hung them in places I would see them and everytime my eyes caught the note I took my heart and spoke the affirmation to myself, I did this for about a year and found it made a tremendous difference in how I felt, how I viewed myself and the world I live in. I like to share what I do to help inspire others to step back into their power to master their own life. As a survivor of complex childhood trauma, I have had many low moments in my life and survived the sheer incredible. I had become amazing at hiding my pain and only few years ago I began to open up to my truth. I began to look for ways to heal my life, the affirmations are only one of many things I have done for myself.
